After breakfast I’m off to visit Pokhara. Pokhara is a peaceful lake side village, 200 km east of Katmandu, on the skirts of Himalayan Annapurna. It is the only location in the world where one is able to observe the peaks of mountains higher than 8000 metre’s. The highest peaks such as Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri can be viewed from Pakhara which is located at 884 metres. This village established in a quiet valley serves as a doorway for adventurers. After this spectacular tour and a pleasant walk around the lake we set off to board some rowboats and watch the sunset over the Himalayas.
